The goal of the Gainsborough school is to train students to be well-rounded photographers who are not only able to create excellent photographs, but are able to market and sell those images to create an income. Students are given individual training that takes into account each student’s way of learning.

Our curriculum covers the artistic as well as the technical aspects of photography, and students are also taught the rules of composition before being asked to creatively modify them, as part of their assignments.

Lighting is a very important part of photography and the school encourages students to become proficient in the use of creative daylight as well as tungsten and electronic studio flash.

Working with people to create exciting portraits for personal and business use is a main focus of the training, and the school demonstrates how to satisfy a client’s requirements and get paid for the assignment.
